Directions to ENS - Computer Science Department

ENS is in the center of Paris.

In order to come there :

  • If you are already in Paris or if you come by train, you can take the subway (métro and R.E.R) to the Luxembourg station.
  • If you come by plane
    • From Charles de Gaulle (Roissy), take the R.E.R. ligne B, direction Paris until the Luxembourg station. (about 40 mn).
    • From Orly, take OrlyVal to Antony, and then take the R.E.R. ligne B, direction Paris until the Luxembourg station. (about 45 mn).

Crypto Team

The Crypto Team is in 'Aile Rataud':

Once you are at the gate of 45 rue d'Ulm, you face the main building.
Do not enter this building but rather immediately make a right and then a left.
You will be on a walk lined with trees, on which you go straight until you reach a door which you enter (see 'Aile Rataud' on the map).
Then go to level -1: the Crypto Team is on your left.

Meeting/Conference Rooms

  • The salle Dussane is the main conference room at ENS. It is situated at 45 rue d'Ulm.
    Enter the main building, take the corridor to the left. The Dussane room is at the end on the left.
  • The salle des Actes is situated at 45 rue d'Ulm.
    Enter the main building, take the corridor to the right, at level 1 - Escalier A.
  • The amphi Rataud, aka NIR, "Evariste Galois" is another conference room at ENS, often used for the Crypto Seminar.
    It is located in the New Rataud Building, new the Computer Science Dept, level PB.
  • The salle W is often used for the Crypto Seminar.
    It is located in the main ENS building at the 45 rue d'Ulm, on the last floor using Escalier B.
  • Salle Simone Weil is located on the ground floor, in the left aisle of the main building. Coming from the main entrance, if you turn immediately left, you will see a sign pointing towards the room. It is number 17 on this map.
  • Salle des Résitants is located in the main ENS building, between stairs A and B. Coming from the main entrance, you can take the nearby stairs A, go up one floor, and you will see a sign pointing to the room. It is number 14 on this map.
  • Salle S16 is a local meeting room located in the Crypto Team corridor.
